What is an opportunity?
Stupid question? No really, let's try to define it.
I'd say it's the prospect for one of two things:
Either gain. Or avoidance of pain.
And, of course, an opportunity is time-sensitive. It comes and goes. The whole scarcity deal.
I'm not the type to beat around the bush, so let me come right out with the fact that I have an opportunity for you, buried right in this blog post.
I think it's a solid opportunity, but hey, that's just me. I don't like to "sell" people on opportunities I offer. The kind of people I like to surround myself with, usually recognize a good opportunity, and jump on it, before it disappears.
Not that it is I who make the opportunity disappear. It's just in the nature of the beast. These constellations that form opportunity aren't always under our control. In fact, most of the time, they are serendipitous. I'm a strong believer in that.
Take David Wolfe, Len Foley, Daniel Vitalis, and Mike Adams, for example. Amish and I had a chance to meet face-to-face with all of these guys this past weekend in Atlanta. Even if you don't know who these guys are (you should!), the point is, we jumped on a plane and went. We seized an opportunity when we saw it.
[If you remember, we're helping David Wolfe's Sun Food business, and his membership site operated by Len Foley. It's one of those weird "hobbies" that Amish and I can afford to spend time on, ever since we've put our Pay-Per-Click 2.0 business on cruise control with HexaTrack PRO.]
Before I explain the opportunity I have for you, let me explain why our Atlanta get-together was so unique, anyone –including you!– would have jumped on it right away:
- David Wolfe seems to be more than your next nutrition "guru"; people literally go nuts over this guy wherever he speaks. Freaks us out a little that we're now working with him, "on the side" so to speak, building his massive raw food business www.sunfood.com.
- Len Foley is one of those elusive super internet marketers out there, best known as owner of dozens of successful membership sites, and viral video maker. As a raw foodist, he spread the superviral video "The Bionic Burger" on YouTube. Look it up! Len charges tens of thousands of dollars upfront before he'll build your membership site.
- Daniel Vitalis (shown here holding a medicinal mushroom), calls himself an herbal tonic and elixir master. We think rightfully so; we tried his concoctions. He runs www.elixircraft.com, and yes, we're into that weird kind of stuff.
- Mike Adams (tall dude), another one of these behind-the-scenes guys that few have ever heard of. But how does a membership base of 1.2 million subscribers at his site nutritionnews.com sound?
We're not at 1.2 million members yet with HexaTrack, but comparing membership sizes is not what this Atlanta meeting was about. It was about the opportunity to meet, and exchange value. Every good opportunity means you get at least as much out of it as the other guy.
(Thank God we don't have 1.2 million HexaTrack members; as you remember our servers melted down a couple weeks ago with just 8,000 members.. The ghosts from that meltdown, are by the way, the reason why the opportunity that I have for you is so, umm, timely…)

My development director Jeffery gave me a recommendation the other day: No more new HexaTrack users, or the server overwhelm from last week is going to happen again. And I'd rather pull the plug than stand for another service outage again.
See, I don't like to apologize for screwups. I like to avoid screwups in the first place. Amish is too nice to make heads roll when necessary; I have no problem with it. So I'm taking Jeffery's recommendation very seriously. 8,000+ members is enough, so we will freeze HexaTrack membership status as of Monday, June 9, 2008. I don't care if some people will be butthurt about this. Leave it Larry to always do what has to be done.
That means:
- After the freeze, all current membership accounts will continue to get support; in fact much more so, now that we can take a break from marketing HexaTrack
- However, no new membership signups, not FREE nor PRO (that's right, you can't even offer us money to take you on)
- No upgrades from HexaTrack FREE to PRO. That means if you decide to let this pass and stay with a FREE account (the account level with limited features and no PPC 2.0 training), it will stay at that level until we re-open (which could be months).
The reverse is true as well: If you read this before 12 noon Pacific Time on Monday June 9th, you may manage to sneak into one of the last PRO 2.0 membership slots we're accepting now.

Seriously, I've had several days to look this over and study the system. And it is a system which will take some work and dedication. So to those of you out there that think there's still something called a free ride, well…yes there is and no there isn't. I think you get what I'm saying. My mantra has always been 'organization is the key to success' and that is exactly what you get here. The "tools" to get organized and then Execute the Plan. With the Brainiacs helping! Cool.
