Hello,

I know that Google Adwords won't allow you to "forward" a domain name to a different landing page. What about masking an URL? I have a big ugly affiliate link that i don't want to put as the Display URL in a PPC ad. Can I put a better looking short URL in the display URL and then mask the long ugly affiliate link with my new short URL?

I was told that Google definetly allows this (from someon who has done it), but it seems strange that Google would allow this because you doing the same thing as forwarding an URL. I'm wondering if they let you do it but would penalize you in some way?

Your feedback would be VERY helpful!

Thanks,
Byron
