Hi

I don't know what went wrong but I set up my Google adwords campaign and everything was working fine. I was getting impressions and clicks on keywords and my ads.

The account settings have position preference set to 1 (top) on all keywords and the Max CPC is set to neraly double the average bid for the keywords i'm bidding on. I always do this on first day out and then lower the max bid slowly over time.

I then deleted a campaign as it wasn't getting the CTR that i wanted due to a couple of broaad match terms diluting the good ctr on other keywords in the same ad group. All my campaigns have just one adgroup each when i kick off a campaign until things start working.

Anyway, I setup a duplicate campaign but forgot to delete the broad match terms as i cut and pasted the keywords from the old campaign. Not to worry i thought and went ahead and paused the keywords i didn't want.

Since then nothing works for the whole account!!

I have tried deleting the campaign again but no joy.

The only other thing i did do was create an 'Experiment' in the web optimiser tool. Which i've since also deleted to see if that was causing the problem.

It must be something that is simple but i can't see it!

Anyone got any bright ideas???

Would really appreciate the help as all my hair has now been pulled out....

Grant

Has this issue been resolved?  Sometimes G puts your account "under review" and you have to wait for ads to show up again.

Thanks Amish

I think you're right.

It threw me but I'm pretty sure that was what it was as things began to return to normal a couple of days later.

Cheers

Just a quick addition...sometimes its better not to delete but simply pause.
Deletes can flag things for google at times and create 'responses' from google that are negative in effect.

Whats your thoughts on that Amish?

Do you tend to delete or pause mostly?
