Amish,

I heard you mention in one of your tutorials that you don't recommend PPC for squeeze pages.

Why is that?   And...        what would you recommend as the most effective way to get a squeeze page in front of my target market?

Thanks,

DiAnna

The reason we don't recommend traditional squeeze pages with PPC is because Google will slap you immediately. You want to create a professional looking site with content relevant to the keyword your advertising. Remember we need to have congruency from keyword to ad group to ad copy to landing page. You want to have content on that landing page that relates to that keyword, you need a privacy policy and terms page. You also want other related content linked to that page. The old school squeeze pages don't work anymore because they provide no real value to the person visiting your page. This is what google expects and will reward you with lower click prices if done right. Start implementing video into your pages along with incentivized optins, make sure it's above the fold. This is a perfect way to grab attention and get more optins, and make google (and your visitors) happy!

Hope that helps.
