Just another wish for the wishlist.  But being able to see the actual geolocation of the converted client's IP decomposed to as much detail as possible (city/town where possible) in an automated fashion might prove very helpful in targeting campaigns other integrated marketing campaigns such as direct mail pieces, targeted radio and cable TV advertising etc.

Anybody else think so?

HI I think the idea is good.
But its possibly one of those good idea in principle but hard to work with in reality items.

The 'De compiling' of the ip is not difficult at all there is lots of items that will do that aspect.
Its the what do you do with it after that's the problem.
The fact you have the data then presents people with the problem of 'How to Handle' that data once its on the screen.

Next thing we will be asking the Guys to provide grouped ip location data, indexed to product type and cross matched against price with a linking
structure to most profitable roi based on keyword cost and on n on n on :-)

What your suggesting is good, its advanced for most people though and I think you would be far better to pull the
data into your own spread sheet and then work on it the way YOU will need... to gain the most from it.

Just my two Penney on it.
