I can't seem to get my landing page into the Great score area.

I followed the instructions given by the video and changed my page copy numerous times, going through step by step iterations of keyword density between 2% and 7%, but it never goes into the Great area.  The best score I get is a little bit to the right of the OK mark.  Are there other elements besides keyword density that will affect my landing page score?

By the way, my keyword score shows Great at 1% CTR.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

John

Without knowing in more detail the 'details' of your landing page a number of factors could be at play here for you.

Yes the kw density plays a role and is very important regards the bidding kw's in relation to your page copy kw's.
But also important and with a fairly high factor is the domain. So ? is ... is your domain also well positioned in regards to your
main keywords? If not then that could be a big factor here.

Also all the other areas such as video, links out etc.

If your domain is not that well related then see what you can do by creating a sub domain to your domain and choose a sub domain that
contains your  main keyword in it.

Hope that helps some?

Thanks for the tips there man... big help...

When you mention adding a sub domain.. Do you you recommend using your product name as the subdomain or something else..

Eg.. Could I use... http://canonpowershotsd1000.yoursite.com

or could I use http://digitalcameras.yoursite.com/canonpowershotsd100

Also you mention links out... do you mean having a resource page that includes links to authority sites that include you main keyword name?

Eg.. Link out would be - canon powershot sd1000 to an article of ezine articles? Wikipedia etc.. etc..

Let me know what you think...

Many thanks,

Sean
