Hey guys

I've just read this post on quality score changes:

http://adwords.blogspot.com/2008/08/quality-score-improvements.html

I believe these changes have already come into play. Does this mean (if not already) that Goggles needs to make changes to the way it calculates its quality score?

I have the same question.  They say they are now calculating Quality Score on the fly according to country the search is coming from and other factors, so it would seem the Goggles are made obsolete by that.  I don't know how they could get around it.  Anyway, I've found them useful only for knowing the main factors involved in making a landing page but I wouldn't overall trust the score given.

The Goggles are no obsolete.

The "first page bid" is just another way of saying what you minimum bid is.  So it's the same quality score, just using different terms!

Google still uses the same methodology for tracking Quality Score!
