Hi Larry and Amish.

I have successful campaigns running on content network with average bid prices under 10 cents, giving me > 50% ROI. These landing pages have dynamic relevant content and my adgroups are tightly knit. The keyword from the content network is passed on to the landing page, putting the keyword in the meta tags and anchor link. I have done other seo stuff to these pages to increase its quality score. But as soon as I turn on the search network on these campaigns, I get slapped with 30c - $1 bids. Can you give some pointers on how to successfully run search campaigns?

Thank you,
Eve

Hi Eve,

Have you tried the slap-back methodology?  They may raise your bids to $1, but you can go right in and raise your bids to $1.  You will see your CTR go up and your QS actually go up.  You will lose some money, but after a couple hours, you can go back in and start reducing your bids by about 20 cents at at time until you want to be.

Give this a shot.  If it doesn't work, contact us via email so we can take a look further!
